Therapy and Consultation
My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and in a deep respect and appreciation for each client’s background and story. My training in Executive Functioning Skills Training, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and SPACE treatment helps me tailor therapy for each client. I offer respectful, sensitive, and flexible psychotherapy services.
Adults
With adults, I see clients wishing to address anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, communication challenges, grief, and identity. I also work with adults seeking support with decision-making, organization, and values-based time management and planning. For some adults, challenges related to executive functioning have a significant impact on the day to day experience. Together, we engage in a combination of skills-training and therapeutic techniques to address some of these obstacles.
Young Adults
I have extensive experience with young adults, including those who are in undergraduate, graduate, and early career stages.
I understand the unique challenges that this life stage presents and support clients as they navigate their identity, education, careers, and relationships.
I also support young adults with time management, organizational skills, goal-setting, and planning.
Adolescents and Teens
With school-age clients, I draw on my role as a school psychologist, my training in neuropsychological evaluation and treatment, and my experience teaching executive function strategies. I work with adolescents and teens who struggle with anxiety, learning challenges, social skills, peer relationships, and organizational demands. I have in-depth knowledge of the school environment, including the learning, social, and emotional challenges that students face. I also work with guardians as they seek to support their children in school.
